Whats New For Season 25 Nationals?

West Coast Dance Explosion is excited to premiere some new events, awards, and opportunities during our Season 25 National Event. We have a lot of exciting things in store at Nationals this year, below you can find a few highlights!

A Parent/Guardian Only Competition!
In the First Annual Dream Duffel Dash, competitors go head-to-head in a variety of challenges and games for their chance to win brand new Dream Duffels! Gather together with like-minded families in this fun and free event! No preregistration required.
June 30th at Noon - Regency Ballroom Rotunda

An Exciting New Finals Event!
Watch as the three highest scoring soloists from each age division take to the stage one last time as they re-compete their solos for cash prizes and their chance to become the 2021 National SoloBlast Champion.

July 1st at 4:00pm - Regency Ballroom Main Stage

An Opportunity For Brand Connections!
Do you have what it takes to be the next JJ Girl? Jo+Jax is searching for Teen & Senior dancers who could represent their brand! Interested Teen & Senior dancers should stop by registration on the morning of July 1st to opt-in to the Open Call. Representatives from Jo+Jax will invite a select group of students to an exclusive audition during the last class of the day!
Register for the Open Call on Thursday, July 1st at 7:00am.

A Fun Filming Event!
Prior to The Studio Icon Challenge, members from our Season 25 faculty will gather to talk about some of the amazing routines we saw this past season. What is a filming event without a live studio audience? Join us on the competition stage as we recap the season and share clips from some awe-inspiring routines.
June 28th at 5:30pm - Regency Ballroom Main Stage

A New Awards Program!
West Coast Dance Explosion has revamped it’s routine category overalls in each age division. The West Coast PowerPack will highlight the top 10 highest scoring soloists in each age division and the top 5 highest scoring routines in the Duo/Trio thru Showstopper categories that have earned a SuperSTAR or higher!
